INI Group, LLC (est. 2005) is a premier provider of supported independent living services to the mentally ill and developmentally disabled population in Washtenaw County.
Through carefully planned community involvement intertwined with composite care, INI Group provides a platform for consumers to maximize their potential whilst learning and growing in a safe and healthy environment.
We pride ourselves in exceeding the expectations of the families and consumers that we serve. The importance of buildings strong, safe, and trustworthy relationships has helped us in tailoring staff training to encompass techniques that go beyond treating just an individuals disability.
In addition to helping shut down the last remaining institution for developmentally disabled individuals, INI Group is responsible for taking out DD clients from the state hospital, many of which were considered “too dangerous” to be out in the community. INI has not only had success with these individuals but also insures full community integration and a fulfilled life to the best of their capabilities.
INI Group is dedicated to provide support and service plans that are consumer driven, person-centered, culturally competent, and strategically implemented. The service provision is continuous at all times in order to facilitate persons served to make choices and exercise independence potential.
