Community Activities
To ensure that our consumers have activities to look forward to, INI Group LLC plans consumer outings. Multiple times a month we plan, fund, and participate in activities to promote community integration and social development. Examples of activities that we enjoy are: bowling, arcade trips, movie nights, Eastern Michigan University sporting events, arts and crafts parties, and barbecues at the park!
Zap Zone Arcade Trips
Zap Zone is one of our favorite places to go to play arcade games! Tokens are given to each person to play different games of their choosing. Everyone enjoys being able to decide which games they want to spend their tokens on and how to spend the tickets that they win. This is a great opportunity to teach money management and decision-making in a fun environment!
Movie Night’s
INI Group frequents Rave Cinemas to see the latest movies! Everyone meets in the lobby 20 minutes before the movie to pick up their ticket and spend time together. This community building activity encourages socialization, and has helped develop many new friendships.
Sporting Events
Eastern Michigan University sporting events are another INI Group favorite! Interacting with other fans and cheering on the eagles is exciting, fun, and brings everyone together.
Arts and Crafts
During arts and crafts events, INI Group’s main office turns into a place to be creative and have fun! Supplies are provided to create things such as birdseed hangers, drawings, cards, and seasonal decorations. Snacks, music, and dancing are also highlights of any event at the INI Group office.
Bowling Team
All skill levels are welcome on INI Group’s bowling team! Our supportive, encouraging staff members help each bowler participate and improve. The team atmosphere is the best part of bowling night, proven by the cheering and excitement that radiates from the entire group!
